cancellation Policy

At Fort Bend Trailer Rentals, we work to keep scheduling simple, reliable, and fair for all customers. Because trailers are reserved specifically for your time slot, the following cancellation policy applies:

Cancellation & Refunds

All customer-initiated cancellations are subject to a 5% nonrefundable cancellation fee, regardless of when the cancellation is requested. This fee helps cover payment processing and administrative costs associated with your reservation.

Refunds are calculated based on the following schedule:
• 48+ hours before pickup: 95% refund of the total booking amount (5% cancellation fee retained).

24–48 hours before pickup: 50% refund of the total booking amount, less the 5% cancellation fee, resulting in a 45% refund.

Less than 24 hours before pickup: No refund.

The 5% cancellation fee applies to all customer-initiated cancellations, including reservations canceled immediately after booking. The fee is deducted from any applicable refund and is not an additional charge.

Rescheduling

• You may reschedule your reservation at no charge if requested at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time, subject to availability.

• Reschedule requests made within 24 hours may not be accommodated.

• Rescheduling does not qualify as a cancellation when the reservation is successfully moved to another available date.

No-Shows

• If you do not arrive for your scheduled pickup and do not contact us, your booking will be considered a no-show, and no refund will be issued.••

Early Returns

• Returning a trailer early does not qualify for a refund for unused time.

Weather Policy

• Rentals continue in most weather conditions.

• If severe weather makes it unsafe to tow (at our discretion), we may allow a reschedule or credit toward a future rental.

Final Notes

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a reservation due to:

• Equipment issues

• Safety concerns

• Unforeseen circumstances

If Fort Bend Trailer Rentals must cancel your reservation, you will receive a full refund, including any applicable cancellation fee, or the option to reschedule at no additional charge.

By completing a reservation, you acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy, including the 5% nonrefundable cancellation fee applicable to customer-initiated cancellations.

This policy allows us to maintain availability, cover reservation-related costs, and provide reliable service to all customers.
