Yes, you must provide proof of valid insurance on the tow vehicle. Coverage for a rented trailer can vary by policy, so contact your insurance provider if you're unsure what your policy covers.

Protect your rental from unexpected tire damage with our optional $20 Tire Damage Waiver. If purchased at checkout, it covers the repair or replacement of one trailer tire, up to $250, for qualifying punctures, blowouts, and road-hazard damage during your rental. The waiver does not cover wheels or rims, roadside assistance or towing, damage caused by overloading or misuse, or additional damage caused by continuing to tow on a damaged tire. The Tire Damage Waiver is optional and is not insurance. See the Rental Agreement for complete terms and exclusions.
